Short Update

Hi.. I've been really busy lately. My life was in such a frenzy ever since the beginning of spring quarter. I made a mistake by choosing an ECON class taught by a Stanford Professor. Also by squeezing two ECON classes in one quarter. I thought since I've taken it before during my undergraduate study, it will be easy for me. Turns out many things have changed in world economy ... and now I'm learning ECON from America's point of view so in a way it is really different!

Anyway, so here I am, trying to cope with endless exams and quizzes...

Just two days ago in the midst of all this frenzy i received a good news. Last night I got another convincing email but I'm still waiting for the formal letter. Hopefully this is another miracle that I've been waiting for =)

What is it with 15? Can you guess? Well, I'm going to visit my parents in 15 more days =) I'm so thrilled and grateful at the same time. It's been almost four years since I got married and moved to the States. I've never been this far apart from my family ... and for such a long time. We are really close to each other, so it is really painful living away from home.  I can hardly wait for the trip. We started planning sometime in May and my Mom has been counting days ever since =) I look forward to spending quality time with them. I am also super excited about all the Indonesian food that I'm gonna eat. I've been craving these food for a while:  Kwetiaw Akiaw Mangga Besar (image from foodspotting.com ) Hokkian Noodle (image from makanmana )     Sate padang (image from AIS MIT website ) and much more! Epcot - Walt Disney World 2012

Day 2 - Orlando Trip Instead of visiting the other Universal, we chose to visit Epcot in Walt Disney World.  WDW gate at International Dr Somehow, visiting Disney felt different. I'm not saying that Universal is not as good ... It's just that Disney has its own magical charm that is irreplaceable by any other theme parks (IMHO).  As usual, we followed our proven strategy of coming early in the morning. Even before that, we also checked the park's forecasted crowd level at touringplans.com. We tried to adjust our schedule with the crowd level. Initially, we planned to spend one day and a half just for Epcot since a lot of our friends suggested us to do so.
